Fuck off. It was complete shit. Literally nothing happens the movie. It has ok camera work, I can remenber a few shots were I though to myself "This has some good cinematography for a horror movie" but the story was complete shit as was the pacing and acting. The whole aspect of "god fearing christians" falls flat as there's literally no antithesis to it, nothing to make them doubt their faith or falter, nope, just crazy christians. The witch been shown once or twice also serves no purpose. They could have went with the MUCH better plot point of maybe making the witch not being real at all, or keep the audience guessing, like in blair witch project (which was a mediocre movie on it's own, but at least it did this point much better). Also the kid's acting literally made me cringe. I've no idea what they were thinking giving him so much screen time.

Ending was also shit. Yes, I get what they were doing and where the story was TRYING to go, but it just fucking ended. I've had ruined orgasms better than that ending. Just, fuck, I hate this movie so much. Slowburn can be good, I enjoy some calm stories, especially books, but this one tried that and ended up as shit as a movie.
