I thought prometheus was quite bold in it's approach to a sensitive subject that is easy to get wrong (but it never went all in)

I was looking forward to the conversation between the engineers and david/liz but im sorry to say it appears they took the easy way out by bombing them without a word of dialogue exchanged and this is probably the reason:

Its simply safer and easier to make a movie on that premise then think of a compelling story where the two parties would interact, a real shame after a lot of the first movie was about shaws wanting to find out some answers and all we will get is another spaceship alien movie with the same old tropes

im actually wondering if any of the engineer shaw stuff will be in covenant because ive only seen it in TV spots and more recently that "prologue" clip

if its in at all it'll be the first 20 mins or something and then 10 years later.... or someshit either way it'll probably result in some beacon being activated to lure the new cast in,

its dissapointing the retread will be the main focus anyway and itll likely be the cast asking questions and once again relying on viewers to piece together based on what they know
