Big Fish is very emotional. One of Burton's best too.
>A man tells his stories so many times that he becomes the stories. They live on after him, and in that way he becomes immortal.
>>82135087
Wish I Was Here hit me really hard. Just all the stuff about Braff's character's relationship with his brother and father was really emotional.
Also Spider-Man 1 because of Uncle Ben's death. I know it gets memed and Tobey's reaction is a bit over the top, but the death, context, and the last moments just really made me sad as a kid and continues to make me teary eyed. Maybe because Uncle Ben's actor resembles by grandpa.
>>82135447
OH MY GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD
I FUCKING LOVE STAR WARS
>I cried when the planet blew up.
I cry at everything. The most cliche overused music cues get me to well up.
The most recent one I can remember is the Russian mini-series "The Irony of Fate". It's basically a filmed stage play so not too much in the way of cinema but motherfucker does it get bittersweet at the end.

Cast Away. Because I know the loneliness. My god do I.
Gleason. If you can make it through that movie without at least getting misty eyed you are dead inside.
It follows an ex NFL player as he deals with his ALS disease. It starts when he is still heathy and follows him as he deteriorates. You see how it affects him, his wife, and his dad. It's all completely true and super fucking sad. He even has a child who he records his voice for so he can read him bed time stories,
It's on Amazon prime. Haven't meant a single person who watched it. It's brutal.
Rocky.
>There are some sins that you just can't come back from. You know, no matter how hard you try, you just can't. It's like the devil is just waiting for your body to give out, because he knows, he already owns your soul
>And then I think, maybe there is no devil. Maybe you die, and god says "No. Naw, you can't come in. You have to leave now. You have to go away, and you have to be alone. You have to be alone forever"
