I think Dark Knight has a great theme, a great villain, an ok hero and a good script wich was okay acted. My problem with that movie is that Batman and Joker fight for the control of Gotham (if it should be chaos or order) but we, as the audicence, never actually care about Gotham.
In the Incredibles, the theme is the family, and during the whole movie we care about that, that's why Incredibles is better to me

That's what I hate about cape movies that try to have some higher concept motive, you say it's about batman and joker fighting for order or chaos when really it's just batman trying to save the city just like he did in the first movie. You can try and dress it up with some intangible notion but it doesn't really matter. The dark knight has no theme while Incredibles theme is about accepting help from others and realizing the importance of family over ones self.

Well, I guess I can't agree more on the cape movies today stuff, I tought I was the only one. But still i have to say there's a theme in Dark Knight, it's not the same movie as the first one, in the first one he saves the city from criminals, and the only one who seem to be able to stop him is defeated without problem. But in Dark Knight Batman realizes that he is not able to beat the Joker, that's why that movie is superior to the other two.
