this literally has everything you need to make a good solid bond movie
>Bond is serious but still has dry wit and one liners
>great gadgets but nothing over the top
>great car chase but not DAD tier over the top
>opening that pulls you right in with great stunt work
>great score
>plot with twists but nothing stupid like spectre

this isnt to say any bond movie that isnt this is crap or not good, but this is the movie that the even an idiot can copy the formula of and still have a decent bond movie

THE REALEST BOND EVER

ITS ABOUT THE MUJ IN AFGHANISTAN DURING THE COLD WAR

ITS LIKE A TOM CLANCY BOND
>>
>>82100528
>THE REALEST BOND EVER
it isnt though, and no one claims it to be
>>

OP, nope, Goldeneye is the perfect Bond movie. My top three, and I'm not really a fan of the series, would be...

Goldeneye
Casino Royale
License to Kill

Looking at the Kingsmen sequel trailer, I want the next version of Bond to be like THAT. Sci-fi craziness but taken seriously without the misery of Craigs films (apart from CR) or the clownish bullshit of Moore's flicks. Kingsmen has the sort of tone and style I want from modern day Bond movies. I sure as fuck don't want them to reflect real life and it would be nice if THEY WERE FUCKING R-RATED!!! Soo fucking tired of PG-13 Bond movies. Give me nudity and gore or give me death!!!FACT!!!
>>
It'd be perfect if it had the last half an hour trimmed off. Although Dalton is the definitive Bond

EXCEPT IT IS, INCLUDING THE TRYHARD CRAIG BONDS

>AFGHANISTAN PLOT ABOUT OPIUM
>MUJAHIDEEN ARE WEST ALLIED
>RUSSIAN COLD WAR BACKDROP
>CIA
>GREAT CHARACTER ACTORS
>SICK STUNTS OFF THE BACK OF AN AIRBORNE C130
>ALL PRACTICAL EFFECTS CUS ITS 1987
>TITS
>SCORE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zW4d_BEZCcY&t=1m
>>
>>82100528
That'd be From Russia With Love. Half the movie is just them going back to England
>>
>>82100641
Also, know what's the best Bond movie that isn't actually a Bond movie? Captain America The First Avengers. Think about it, make Steve Rogers a misogynistic, chain smoking alcoholic who viciously kills people when he's not crushing cunt and Cap 1 would have been a God-tier Bond movie. Only thing missing from that movie is Rogers tit fucking Hayley Atwell's glorious milkers and blowing his load all over them!!!FACT!!!
>>

>Steve Rogers a misogynistic, chain smoking alcoholic who viciously kills people when he's not crushing cunt
so make it a completely different movie? yeah no shit

Brosnan was the perfect Bond, he was just in some of the shittiest Bond movies.

nah, yall are thinking of winter soldier.. (although it goes into bourne/mission impossible territory too)
>>
>>82101040
Winter Soldier would be great as a modern day Bond but I'm tired of that shit. I'd like to see some retro movies set in the 60's!!!FACT!!!

I think soo too. Goldeneye is great and I have a soft sport for Tomorrow Never Dies but they had huge production problems, however, despite that it's still an enjoyable flick. The problem with every Bond movie since is those two fucking hack screen writers Robert Wade and Neil Purvis who have polluted every movie since. I place the quality of Casino Royale on the fact that Martin (Goldeneye) Campbell was Directing and Paul Haggis did a re-write. Get rid of that Cro-Magnon fuckstick Craig, put Michael Fassbender in as Bond and CR would be the best Bond movie. PERIOD!

This franchises biggest problem is that they NEVER allow top-tier Directors to come in a do one of these. Bond is the perfect franchise for that. Imagine a Paul Verhoeven, Brian DePalma, Oliver Stone, John Woo, John McTiernan, Takashii Miike etc... movie?!

They don't even hire great British Directors like Ridley Scott or Danny Boyle fer fuck sakes. Bond is soo fucking vanilla and I'm tired of it when Kingsmen and it's sequel is what I want from my spy-thrillers these days!!!FACT!!!
>>
>itt nobody has read the far superior books
I will never forgive what they did to Moonraker.

What did Bond mean by this?

Literally my favorite

I hate all the Goldeneye fans. It's a mediocre movie. Brosnan never made a great Bond film.
>>
I just wanna say that Craig is a fucken madman, he would slaughter all other Bonds in a fight.

Dalton is a vastly underrated Bond
Wish he would have done more than two of them
>>

Great bait mate
>>
>>82104754
It looks like a low budget 90s flick and the final battle is shit. Onatop is the cringiest retardation since Roger Moore.

This is more of a Bond movie than many of the Bond movies
>>
>>82104176
I know Archer is a parody of him but that's literally just Archer
>>
>>82106723
fucking hack writers.
>>
>>82106723
Archer actually has ticks and hang-ups that Bond had in the books, that never made it into the movies. Like having very specific instructions on how he wants his eggs cooked and only going to one store in London for his cigarettes, because every other doesn't get the blend right. They both have a weird autistic side.
>>
>>82108028
He was written to be an almost parody of the types of people the OSS then MI-6 recruited. They were almost exclusively orphans, products of boarding schools, followed by Oxford/Cambridge with degrees in languages. A personal history that very often came with some quite negative personality disorders, and still does.Just look at the MI-6 guy who was found in a piece of luggage naked, having presumably entered it himself as a for of autoerotic asphyxiation.
