Is this our generation's Futurama? Serious discussion please.
*BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURP*
This Rick & Morty has to be the best animated series we've seen in years. Literally years. There's two scenes in this series that absolutely sent shivers down my spine. First when Rick buys Morty a sex robot that it turns out Morty can impregnate. I nearly pissed my pants with laughter at that one. #relatable #SoMe
The other one is how truly epic and remarkable the geniuses Dan Hamond and Justin Roiland showcases alienation. Rick and Morty only really have each other. Rick because he is a cynic and Morty because no one around him seems to really care about him or acknowledges him all that much. WUB-A-LUB-A-DUB-DUB Am I right? #SadbutFunny

Futurama was funny though
>this is what people consider sub-culture now
South Park was 100x more time edgy

I have never like Futurama. I don't hate it, I don't think it's a bad show. I just don't think it's funny; it does nothing for me.
Am I a pleb?
>THE MULAN SAU-*burrrrrrp*-SAUCE M-MORTY ISN'T RACIST BECAUSE RACE IS A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT!
>gee I don't know I mean what about-
>H-HOLY SHIT MORTY I CAN MATHEMATICALLY PROVE I-IT *burp* YOU FUCKING WHITE M-MALE
>but Rick you j-just said race doest exist
>shut up morty

It's not this generation's futurama, it's this millennium's Shakespeare.

Serious answer, Futurama was not as cynical and had a lot more charm.
