God I hope this show goes under during the writers strike

The awful performances and sets that look like something from a high school play or an episode of Alf are really beginning to creak under the weight of the grandiose plot. I found Miller pretty annoying in the books but in the show Thomas Jane really made up for a lot of the weaker parts. Naomi's refugee adventure was awful from beginning to end and it's clear they just used it as padding for one half of the episode because it was cheap to shoot.

I genuinely want to enjoy this show but I hate every character/faction in it. Miller was the exception, but now that he's gone I just want the entire system to die off. I don't know if it's the acting or the writing, but as the seasons progress I find myself hating the characters more and more. The plot becomes less and less interesting.
It's sad that the only dude left on the program I find remotely tolerable is that autistic fuck Amos.

There was even a moment when I was reflecting on that and how lucky I felt that I finally started watching it, because there really hasn't been much of any tech noir TV in my lifetime and it felt really good to finally have some.
