Marc is okay when he's got a guest you recognize, who is interesting on their own merits, and wasn't on SNL or knew Sam Kinison.
Because holy shit if they were on SNL then it turns into the same long-winded therapy session about why Marc didn't end up on SNL.
If they knew Kinison then fucking christ, it's about how Marc did blow with Sam Kinison and hung out with him all the time and sucked his dick.
His material as a bitter, washed up former addict is okay.
Joe and Bill are great.
Opie and Anthony are faggot company men.
jo rogan is better than bill burr.
at least we dont have to deal with his unfunny wife and he actually has guests

He's okay when he isn't on about SNL, Kinison, or sucking up to a big name. When he's genuine, he's great but when he's bad he's fucking awful. He's like every gen Xer bitter about millenials because he fucked up his 20s and can't cope with his impending death.
That being said, sift through the shit you like but listening to him elsewhere is probably for the best. I respect that he's working and again, his stand-up is not terrible. His interviews with Louie are pretty incredible, even if Marc's slobbing knob half the time.

>Chad Shank tries to keep the demons inside
It's definitely my favorite podcast. I listen to the Monday Morning Podcast regularly, and the Joe Rogan Experience semi-regularly.
>>82053183
Why is Doug such a cuck?
>>82053225
Because Bill Burr is his helicopter-flying, basketball-watching dominatrix.
The Drew and Mike Podcast is best podcast
>>82053183
You're not wrong. A quiet life in small town America it isn't.
Maybe being constantly drunk and snorting adderall all day has a down side to it.
>>82053225
He was a cuck, owns an actual cuck trailer and was complaining about newbs being late to cuck porn the other week.
Doug confronts Washboard Willy after Bingo goes missing was another classic episode.
His attitude to that was however eventually explained by events on that cruise where he smuggled several gallons of contraband vodka on board.
Bingo wasn't so much upset she found him fucking someone else, I think it was more the vaseline up the walls of the cabin and an odd number of rubber gloves lying around.
Who knew Doug even had a libido at this stage.
Doug is so weird because despite being such a relatively minor celebrity he's got a massive entourage and so many dumb and annoying hangers on.

Anyone listen to How did this Get made? Paul Scheer and Jason Mantzoukas and June something? Usually they'll have another guest on. Also very related to /tv/ as they just make jokes about terrible movies.
why do people want opie and anthony to come back?

Chaille is the only real hanger on who he treats like dirt. He desperately needs to move on in life.

>>82054166
he was corrupted by the dark side
>>82053924
June Diane Raphael. Scheer did OK there.

The End of the World election night podcast with Burr and Rogan was great, but would have been better without the live audience. Jason's act gets old pretty fast. He has no characters or real jokes. His whole shtick is shooting shit down and questioning wild premises. I'm glad Scotty called him out on it on one of the CBB episodes.
The episodes with Mantzoukas are still pretty good because Scotty and the other guests are usually having a good time.
>>82054637
That podcast is a classic example of one where you come for the guest, not him.
The only odd thing was when he was dating Moon Unit Zappa while basically trying to look as much like Frank Zappa as possible.
I'm also not interested in his recollections of the 90s comedy scene you had to be there to understand. Old man rambling about glory days nobody cares about.
For an allegedly reflective comic he has no self awareness at all.

He felt insecure, Louis had the same problem on Joe Rogan for a bit.
Its something about how Americans interpret a certain type of Englishness as embodying traits American intellectuals adopt when they are trying to project a certain image.
Its not a stereotype we have about ourselves so its a bit baffling and its worse for Louis because he is fairly modest and self-effacing which seems to provoke people even more.

>that Goldfinger episode
It's definitely got its good parts but man, that Goldfinger episode was hard to listen to
>>82054560
Disagree, Paul Scheer is quite funny just not really in that context. They all bring something to the table. Mantzoukas brings the lethargic exasperation, June brings the small details and the strange readings (like insisting the mother and son weren't incestuous in Sleepwalkers or asking what entailed a Street Fight) and Paul is the clumsy but lovably enthusiastic narrator. It's hard for me to listen to episodes without June as well because all I can think is she could've misheard a line and made that funny

You're not wrong, I think I took it a little personally because Goldfinger is one of my favorites. Also because the next episode with their girlfriends on Casino Royals was one of the best
>>82047356
I don't get triggered at all but I do skip most of the bits with her, because I found her annoying and unfunny. It was ok the first couple of times because it was something different than Bill just ranting to end up saying "I don't know, I'm just ignorant", but it got old pretty fast.

he's such an insecure cunt and everyone of mark's beefs is basically his own fault because he always thinks people owe him something when they "make it" before him... just listen to his louis podcast, he literally cut off contact with him because louis was becoming really successful
