What the fuck was he thinking?

night sees a camera
>poo into it
Never seen the movie. Can I get a short description?
>>82047994
It's a clusterfuck.

Honest question, why are this dudes movies always so devoid of any sense of sensuality? Every film i've seen by him seems so completely devoid of sexuality, every romance feels stilted and awkward, or just excessively pure.

NARF!
Well it has prime bryce and she's wearing just a shirt throughout the movie.
I like it

That BDH was pretty enough to sell anything?

It's not only sex, they are devoid of any emotion. He treats his characters as some sort of pawns to get the plot going.
it's not terrible, but the fairy tale aspect is so under utilized and uninspired that it drags on.
>every one shits on the critic for Giamatti's mistake
Worst part right there.

It's basically Sonichu.
Also the only person that gets killed in the movie is a critic.

It is terrible.
The permise is great, but every single thing is done wrong. It tries to be innovative, but it just doesn't work.
For example it tries to estabilish an interesting mythology, but you never see any of it, just literall 5 mins straight exposition drops by the asian women.
It tries to be a critique of traditional storytelling, but in the end it just goes "it's this person instead of this person" a few times like we are supposed to care. It doesn't change anything, and M. Night seems smug about being creative there.
It feels like something a film student would do and be proud of, because it's "something different", and "fuck cliches", despite it being infinitely worse than any of those cliches.
I genuinely enjoyed this movie, but I also like Waterworld so I'm not really able to talk about taste.
