It's way too campy, even more so than other tarantino movies. It's as if QT just watched some japanese samurai movies and westerns and just tried to melt them together with le hip pop culture music

Because /tv/ is full of plebs. I don't claim to be "patrician" or whatever buzzword but i have seen KB as a teenager, I found it entertaining but not more, and then i watched it again some years later, after having seen a couple of spaghetti western and honkongese kung fu films : it's another film, a real jerkfest of 70's kino references, and that's what so good about it. The issue is that it speaks mostly to a niche cinephile audience, which is not a problem for me but you have to have a certain culture to fully appreciate it, and i think if I watch it again i'll find even more references in scenes that didn't even caught my eye last time I watched it.
