Great stuff. I think I was 19 when I watched it first.
The "money" speech is insanely meaningful in a way most people declaring it don't even realize. (The film being released in 1976 is key here - this was in the middle of the transition period between fordism and post-fordism in the economy.)
I've a soft spot for the 70s in general, if you ever want to just kill time (or perhaps glean something about the mindset of the period) you should dig into disaster films. Poseidon Adventure, Airport, Towering Inferno, etc. They unintentionally say a lot about the decade's anxieties.
