Never played HL2, so I can't comment. I will bump your thread though. The show is a pretty decent time waster.

Ah, so exactly like season 1 then. I don't mind the show, but damn is it mediocre borderlining on good. It's a shame because I think Josh Holloway is fantastic. Guess I'll start it today

I would say a pretty big mayor alien plot turned up in season 2 episode 6-7, not the "why" but at least the "what".

That plot is related to a distribution curve that actually looks like an upside down half-life curve :D.
