And it was awesome. Bigger and better than the first film in every way. Great, inventive action, laughs, heart, tons of cool cameos. Every single character got their own development and subplot. Baby Groot is every bit as funny and adorable as the trailers suggest. Also that rare thing in Marvel films - a really good villain.
Only a couple of minor complaints - A little too much forced humor at times. The movie was very funny throughout so it didnt need any forced comic relief (Drax). Also I think a little of the CGI action sequences could have been shortened a bit. But these are very minor issues with a movie that was just brilliant on the whole. Also for a long film, time just flew by.

I liked Galaxy 1 but everything with baby Groot from the ending scene in Galaxy 1 to all the Galaxy 2 trailers he was in, was pure cancer trash.
