why make risky original unique content when you can just rehash braindead non offense fodder fr literal 3 year olds disney is dead. pixar died with toy story 3

I just want a insanely great animation for The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck animated miniseries by hiring Disney's best. Duck Tales cheap out on the few details of the look of the comic.

Implying dark is original

But yeah even if it's cliche darkness Disney wouldn't touch it because they want their brand image.

>because they want their brand image.
The brand image they established while they still made films involving death, crime or prejudice.

Maybe I'm out of touch with reality but I imagine some of this..new patch of kids who think racism and having opinions is evil and the world is a nice ball of joy and we should all get along would react badly to destino or even fucking fantasia.

It used to be you'd get a life lesson or adult lesson from disney films, now it's like this vapid air of pretty, "wit" and happiness - and it's setting these kids up for a hard fall.

But what do I know. I was 7 when I was watching meet the feebles, fritz the cat and all kinds of horror movies.

> You'll never get a unprecedented Disney/Pixar joint effort epic two-part adaptation of TLAT because though the history is about an inspiring but bittersweet extremely tough struggle towards 100% earned sucess it still stars what's basically an old white dude who likes money

Disney films used to be targeted at a fairly broad demographic of kids and were designed to appeal to all ages ~12 and under. Modern Disney films and media are aimed overwhelmingly at girls aged 10 and under.
