james woods is the best actor that will ever walk the earth

The movie makes me physically ill. Just the whole nightmarish world with James Woods not knowing what is real ugh.
It's great though.

Well I'll checkem and agree. The most horrific part is the confusion, seeing things that might be real but it's long past the point you can trust your own mind. Spookiest of psych aspects, plus unreliable perspective is always fun if it's done right.
I had read a review that said this film was the clock work orange of the 80s. It most definitely is not.
The real debate to be had is, is this movie better than Existenz?

eXistenZ (ftfy) is pretty weak. The cast was great, the plot was... interesting. It dealt openly with the mental issues but I dunno, it was too much in the shadow of videodrome.
It's Reddit

I'd have to agree with you about eXistenZ, it's unique to say the least. However I'd say it was more or less in the shadow of the matrix. Basically any movie that wasn't the matrix from 99 was forgotten.
I did like it though. Unlike Videodrome I wasn't left with 100 questions.
