Say Anything
Fast Times
Breakfast Club
Sixteen Candles

Edge of Seventeen was alright. 10 Things I Hate About You is the GOAT late 90s teen movie.
>>81941364
I guess Me Earl & The Dying Girl was alright, and maybe Perks of Being A Wallflower, but that's about all I can think of recently

Yeah it's pretty much all just YA novel adaptations these days.
Karate Kid
Stand By Me
Back To The Future
FUN FACT: teens didn't exist until 1978.
thats why the 80s were the golden age of teen flicks

Films about teens now just don't seem as "cool". The guys in Fast Times may have been dumb and burnouts, but they had cars and what looked to be a freedom that's hard to understand now. Maybe it's the complete lack of cellphones? You can't run and hide now.
Secret Admirer
Hiding Out
3 O Clock High
My Bodyguard
Cant Buy Me Love
Just One Of The Guys
Lucas
Dream a Little Dream
License To Drive
Questionable entries:
Porkys/Meatballs/Revenge OT Nerds (post teens?)
Goonies (preteens?)
Red Dawn (war film)
Lost Boys (vampire)
One of the very best all time teenkinos was from the 90s
Dazed & Confused
>>81942002
Everybody Wants Some!! is pretty entertaining too.
Bill & Ted
All The Right Moves
Rad
Back To School (post teen?)
Real Genius (post teen?)
Johnny Be Good
Adventures In Babysitting
Dont Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead (not 80s)
My Science Project
The Last Starfighter
Gleaming The Cube
Pump Up The Volume (not 80s)
The Boy Who Could Fly
The Manhattan Project
Wargames
Plain Clothes
And I suppose you could consider the vast majority of 80s horrorkino to overlap with teenkino
