>>81932880
I think 5 is a great season but it also suffers just a bit from feeling too much like wheel-spinning and repeating old plot points.
But it's got a hell of a lot of purpose and pace, though I do probably prefer the more leisurely paced character studies like in S4 and it certainly has some of the show's best episodes, with the final three in particular being devastating and perfect. Just thought the other seasons above it were slightly better.

This is like someone complaining about reading a soft cover book as opposed to hard cover. It's a fucking story. Just immerse yourself in it, dumb cunt.
>>81933919
Rating Season 6 so high is 4chan memery. Not that it's a bad season, it's still Chase's vision, but two of the shows most integral writers left after Season 5 and the tone of the show felt the departure.
>>81934219
I really just enjoyed how depressing season 6B was. That shot of Paulie sitting alone at the satriales still gives me chills. I also feel like a lot of great subtle scenes happened in season 6A and 6B, mostly the interactions between Christopher and Tony. It just seemed really well written to me, though I wasn't aware of the two writer leaving. What were their names?
Prick
So we all agree that Bobby killed harpo, right?
>>81930669
>a loyle capo like Paulie
Paulie knew Tony was getting capped in the final ep
>>81932093
it was already 16:9 on DVD
and at least it was it on its later original airings
>>81930669
I think two was my favorite season but five is a close second.
>>81934472
Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess. They were a writing team on a lot of the show's great episodes but, as Executive Producers, their input had an obvious hand in the overall tone of the story's flow. As a fan, I could tell the difference in the writing, subtle as it may or may not have been.
>>81936092
Elaborate please, I never got that feeling to be honest. I feel by the time the finale came around, Paulie had gotten over the snaking around and such, and just wanted to settle down at that point
Janice is the best
>>81938867
Just kidding tony is I can relate to tony
>>81932097
fucking queer
>>81930669
I don't rank the seasons because the show deserves better. Just finished a watch through myself. It's the great American novel on TV.
