Story of sin was pretty good, just about fell into the category of 'not for me'. Much grander than I was expecting it to be. The shorts included as a bonus were all pretty nice. Arrow have done so much for Borowczyk in terms of availability it's really remarkable, and he really is fantastic, it's interesting to be able to trace his career from surrealist to pornographer.

First time seeing Collateral, I still don't think Mann is the greatest person of all time but that and Heat are comfortably two of the best thriller/action films I've ever seen.

Letterboxd patricians, is Blackhat worth seeing?

Of course. Any Mann is worth seeing.

Of course it's worth seeing. As part of Mann's filmography and as as a 'cyberwar' thriller with odd intentions.
I consider it deeply flawed myself.

I glad you felt the same way. The film totally put me into a trance like no other. I liked his painted films like Black Ice, Dark Tower, Dante's Quartet, etc. Dog Star Man is his magnum opus, but it wasn't very engaging for me. Comingled Containers is similar to ULS btw.

I would suggest Quick Billy though. It's a flicker film as well, but with a little bit more thematic cohesion to it and most importantly, sound.
