I liked the idea of a character who mistakes his mutation for mental illness, I liked all the "Inception"-ish inner mind stuff, I thought the Shadow King was a good, creepy villain and they did a good job slowly revealing what he was. Most of all I liked the whole visual style of it, especially the "anything goes" experimental approach of the last few episodes

Not saying it was a masterpiece or anything, but for me it really stood out from the last few years of bland, formulaic Marvel Studios stuff

Plaza wants to elevate her star but honestly Legion isn't going to be the show that does it, it's basically kitschy capeshit.

She likes doing off-beat things which is why she loves doing indy movies but this feels like something pratt would have told her to do because it's safe, established brand.

I liked the show a lot overall, but come on, that scene wasn't "fine." It looked like garbage, and they could've cut the whole sequence without hurting the plot. Burning all the guards and tossing their bodies in the pool was already good enough for an "epic getaway," they didn't need to plow through a dozen more faceless CGI guards outside the building.

I don't understand this instinct to defend crappy moments on good shows/movies. I bet Noah Hawley himself cringed when he saw the finished CGI come back from the studio
