Yeah, to the point that Studio Ghibli is actually distributing the films there except for The Curse of the Were-Rabbit which was distributed by DreamWorks.

Studio Ghibli is distributing the Wallace and Gromit films as well as Shaun the Sheep in Japan because Nick Park is close friends with Hayao Miyazaki and they admire each other's work to the point that Nick Park actually gave Studio Ghibli the official Japanese distribution copyrights.

They even released A Matter of Loaf and Death in cinemas when it was mostly only a TV movie, even in the UK.
And it was released when Studio Ghibli's own Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea was also in cinemas in Japan and was also a massive hit there.

Not really. When I was a little kid, I loved stop-motion movies/TV shows, especially Chicken Run. One day around that time, when I was in a dollar store I found pic related, bought it, loved it instantly. The movie made it big in America for a time but it's died down a whole lot.
