The man was more principled than half the Galactica crew combined.
Good set of pipes too.

Seriously, who actually sat down and thought "You know what would be a good idea for Baltar's character arc? Turn him into Space Jesus"
And who listened to it and said "Yeah, let's roll with that?"
>>81901247
I was more annoyed that he was a Casanova space Jesus. Like, the first groupie to throw herself at him was really hot. It seriously triggered me.
I was in a like 5-year dry spell though so that could have contributed.
I really hated whenever Head Six was on screen
It was always the same fucking thing with her
>muh God's plan for you Gaius
Seriously, seeing how completely and utterly demolished she was aboard Pegasus was delightful. Lovely bit of schadenfreude.

>>81901295
Jesus fucking christ can we have ONE fucking bsg thread without you autists having a stroke over the ending?
Fucking hell, literally the cancer of every fucking bsg discussion
>yfw it's in the frackin ship
>>81901414
It was only because it was so wonderfully spectacular that the fall made it so painful
>>81901094
His workload is collossal, everyone else just hangs out while he works his arse off.
Relays commands.
Calls DRADIS contacts.
Coordinates Viper launches
Only person who can maintain computers.
>"Mr Gaeta, Im tasking with you with assisting Dr Baltar"
No wonder he snapped.
>>81900576
>Roslin not in trash tier
Don't mind me, just posting Basedstar
head baltar was GOAT
>>81901540
>have two Battlestars
>one can fabricate Vipers
>one can't
>kamikaze the one that can
it's no wonder Colonials lost
>>81901570
I loved him in Downloaded
>"Of course you're already responsible for the genocide of an entire race so what's one more at this point?"
>>81901504
Theres one episode where he is calculating a jump, arguing with someone on the phone and he gets bollocked by Tye for spotting a DRADIS contact late.
What are the other 30 people doing, Dualla operating the switchboard aside? Gaeta even has to operate the switch for jumps.

I remember in Season Two when they were infiltrated with the Cylon virus, he snapped at Tigh who said he was just making excuses when stating the actual workload
He really did have to bust his hump
Genocidal maniac
>>81901720
>Genocidal maniac
>Made an alliance with the rebel Cylons
>>81901540
>>81901376
I think it was the point. Head Six could not take it. She was "gaius muh plan" til she saw what they did to that Six and just puff, she went away for a long while. Who the fuck is this God trying to save? Those fuckers that gang banged that Six?
Over/under is 4.5
The number of people starbuck had sex with in the series?
Only vaguely intelligent treatment of contemporary issues then on TV. It covers the lot, torture, suicide bombing, terrorism, religious extremism etc. and over its run from both sides.
I don't know if I'm more impressed that they managed to do this or whether I'm annoyed it got left to the most genre of genre remakes of a shitty 70s sci-fi show.
>>81901476
>Deus ex machina ending
From a show about machina talking about deus all day.
You were warned over and over again, you can't claim otherwise.
In its defence, at least it fucking ended-ended. This wasn't a good time for long running shows actually having proper resolutions.
>>81901048
I dunno, these all look like the same guy to me.
>>81904735
>McBainThat'sTheJoke.jpg
Will it ever come back to NA netflix? Guess I could alwayspirateit if not.
>>81901048
>someone saved my OC
Always feels good man
>>81901247
I really enjoyed that. They didn't do enough with it imo, it would have been good to see him actually build up political power and challenge the ruling faction, but I enjoyed that they tried to keep him interesting
>>81901414
Baltar Space Jesus wasn't even relevant to the ending
