Which episode of The Simpsons is the best? Discuss, call each other faggots, and have fun.
You only move twice
None of them
There are too many 10/10 episodes in the golden era run to pick one
S5 is the best season though, its literally perfect. It doesnt have one bad joke or down moment in the whole season
Bart of Darkness
It's secretly A Streetcar Named Marge
>>81890959
Honestly, now that Rick and Morty is around, it's hard to even take even the good periods of The Simpsons seriously. I understand Simpsons paved the way for what primetime animated comedy could become, but it's like trying to judge a butterfly against a worm.
I'm not going to have fun.
Also, there's no such thing as a best simpsons episode.

Simpsons was great for its time in the late 80s and early 90s. It explored the life of a working class, suburban, Christian family. That's no longer the reality, which makes the show and the premise dated, especially looking back on it. It's time to let it go. It's no different than someone during season 3 of The Simpsons trying to argue The Flintstones are better. Both are good, but the newer show is always going to be better because it speaks more to the people of that time. The time now is for Rick and Morty. It's darker, raunchier and reflects the direction comedy has taken in recent years.
