I think the formula is that every episode leaves you wanting more and they stretch out the sequels 10-16 years so everybody is hyped up again.

The original Star Wars was about Harrison Ford being a mechanic who's always tinkering with his car/spaceship.

Star Wars was aimed at undermining Dune while putting Ford on a pedestal as an up an coming superstar.

It is pathetic that there is literally a religion based upon Yoda and the Force.

Harrison Ford isn't really comfortable speaking on a stage though. I feel for the guy, the new Star Wars movies aren't any good and the franchise has been commercialized to death
