This was probably the most wholesome movie I've ever seen, ridiculously comfy.
Also my first Jim Jarmusch film, what should I see next?
Down by Law is just as comfy. Limits of Control if you want introspection/cinematography.

I haven't seen Paterson yet but I recommend Mystery Train and Night on Earth.

I get what you mean. Jarmusch is super "comfy" in the sense you use the word. His films are meditative and easy going.
His earlier films are his best, I'd recommend you watching Stranger Than Paradise cause it's his most famous work to date, then Down By Law, Mystery Train and Dead Man.
Mystery Train is my personal favorite.

You're welcome. If you liked the style of Paterson you are in for a treat.
I wish to experience a real innocent comfy social interaction like the pic related scene, it was so damn satisfying to watch.

Dead Man is a pretty good entry point. Only Lovers Left Alive is pretty slow, but if you like this, you could probably enjoy it quite a bit.
Coffee & Cigarettes is probably my favorite, so many great moments.
Why, as a straight male am I so attracted to Adam Driver?
My ex had me watch Girls w/ her and I'd rather have fucked Adam over David Mamets daughter.

I liked it but I fucking hated the girlfriend. I'm not sure if the movie was supposed to make me feel that way.
I'd rather be alone for eternity than have a girlfriend that fucking stupid. it would drive me insane

what was his end game?
in poetry repetition makes rhymes then the patterns that the girlfriend paints and the twins and all that stuff are supposed to make a metaphor about the poetry of life and routine or whatever?
