No, because people who can actually change the world don't give a shit about global warming, for better or worse. He's very transparently after attention, much like Al Gore. Going on TV and preaching that we need to save the planet is like preaching that murder is bad; you're so obviously in the moral right that you're essentially above ridicule. This does not constitute proof or even evidence of truth. The vast majority of scientists have been proven wrong several times throughout history

The main complaint levied by so called "climate change deniers" is not that the climate isn't changing, it is about whether or not humans have a significant effect (significant enough that trade killing regulations are worth while). He simply refuses to address whether there is even any possibility that man-made climate change is not worth addressing.

Additionally, there are several things which impact the environment is other more quantifiable ways than carbon emission. Net yearly carbon surplus due to loss of fixation due to deforestation is on the same order as carbon emission. Ocean pollution is arguably a more important issue.
