it also just about perfectly mirrors the character arc of Francisco d'Anconia from atlas shrugged. Guy claims to have found biggest copper strike ever, gets a ton of funding, making a ton of money, government nationalizes it, finds out its tapped out, and they're angry at him because what they stole has no value. Hell they probably even remixed the actual figure to closer match the character from atlas shrugged.

Not a bad movie per se, just decent at best, Matthew is better than the script but overall story is not that interesting.
