Surprised the shit outta me when I saw it was Ralph Fiennes who voiced him. Didn't sound like him at all.

Overall, great movie 8/10.

The mix of stop-motion and CGI were seamless.

was it marketed as a kids movie? because the whole thing is pretty horrifying. Plus the morals are rediculous, expecting a 10 year old kid to show forgiveness and humility like that after losing everyone he knows? Dealing with his partly insane mother as well...shit was heavy, way too heavy for any kid. I almost expected them to retcon the whole thing and just say he was playing with his toys one day

everything that seems a bit more heavy than bland stories with characters that tell quipy jokes every two seconds is suddenly ''horrifying'' and ''badly marketed''

I didn't really love this movie but I appreciated its message, and that one sure as heck was meant for kids

boring, predictable plot, shit voice acting (fuck off Theron), great visuals.
