Luke is Star Wars

Hamill has always been open about wishing Luke was in more of TFA, and that he thought Luke would end up as a wise, successful Jedi. Anything that involves Luke being conflicted or less than a perfect mentor is going to disagree with what he wanted. Which isn't a big deal, because for Luke to still be an interesting character, he needs to do something besides be perfect.

He's also never said that he's unhappy with the new series, or TFA in general. At most he's said that he's disappointed that Luke didn't show up to join the fight at the end of TFA, but he still likes the movie and thought it turned out well. He's probably going to be happy with Ep. VIII, too.

The video you originally posted starts around 50:00. After saying that just because it made money doesn't mean it's good, he says the fans like it, then starts talking about how great the characters were and how the movie managed to satisfy all the expectations. He keeps going and says that he was disappointed he didn't have more to do and that he wanted to join the final fight, which he's always said.

From watching the few minutes before and after the Transformers exchange it seems like he didn't really want to come back for the movie and was worried that Disney would fuck it up, but ended up pretty happy about it, besides his lack of screen time.

Apparently, in the scene where Rey force pulls the lightsaber from the snow, Hamill wanted it to end up being Luke who pulled it. that would've been so fucking awesome. It would've been the twist everyone wanted, and it fits luke's character. Prequels had a really wonderful story tbqh, it wasn't fleshed out well enough because it needed a pro rewriter. Jar Jar being a Sith was inside there and would have been a rad twist and the Palpatine story needed to be way more of the overall plot. It needed to be shown that Jedi were corrupted and Qui Gonn should have been seen as a fool.

Anakin was the balancer of the force because Jedi were ruining The Force with their sick ideology of removing all love for sentient beings and Anakin had to remove them from politics so that Palpatine could remove the corruption to save the galaxy or at least he thought so.

The interesting tragedy is that even Palpatine ended up being corrupted by power for The Dark Side and so it would have been one of the coolest stories ever written:

1-3) Jedi you thought were the 'Good Guys' were actually religious zealots who were actually corrupt manipulators who forced their will on everyone and tried to control everything

4-6) We thought Balance was going to be reached but The Dark Side went too far with genocide and ended up wanting to force THEIR will on everyone

7-9) We discover Grey is the Way and only by balancing The Force within ourselves and not trying for a lofty and achievable ideal extreme, can we truly become Jedi - Rey becomes The First Grey Jedi Apprentice with Luke's help

The rebels steal outdated plans, proceed to base their attack plan around said plans, and then we get the "It's A Trap!" scene in RotJ. Would've worked for Xizor too if Vader hadn't found out, and Sheev didn't give a fuck what Vader did about it. So Vader attacked his Sky Hook station above Coruscant along with the rebels. He also killed some, but he was more mad at Xizor and the Black Sun than the Rebels at that moment.

She was aware of the modification on the Falcon so no genius was required there, and the two times she tried to do fancy shit with a ship, she failed once, I wouldn't call 50% chance of successfully making a ship do what you want genius level. If you're referring to piloting, she's no better than Luke was at the same age, and Anakin was out piloting her when he was a half her age, not to mention podracing.

She managed to, on a second try, mind fuck a stormtrooper, but it seems that power was granted to her accidentally by Kylo (or perhaps the light side half of him gave it to her with his memory fuckery), she also moves the lightsaber but there's some pretty heavy implications that was more the Force and the saber choosing her than her being stronger with the Force. That's no more genius than Qui-Gon explaining how Anakin had mastered precognition to be a world class pod racer.
