Look up the forum post on some outdoors forum where some guy found the camp sites survivorman says he used

one was about 1000 feet from a major road

the other was about 35 miles down a dirt road off that main road and in the show survivorman says he walks that distance before noon

there was also garbage left at both sites even though he always says shit about how bad litter/pollution is and how the 'crew will come clean things up'

in the baffin island episode he says he finds an old CB battery and steel wool in a old fuel drum

there is no way that the battery would still hold a charge and that the steel wool wouldn't have rusted to dust after about a weeks exposure time there
