Anson Mount is the best suggestion I've seen so far in terms of look, at least.

I'd like it to be an unknown actor.
The neat thing about Geralt is that he doesn't really have much of a personality, he's pretty much a blank slate who wants to kill some monsters and get laid, so it'd be pretty hard to fuck up his character unless someone really hammed it up.
Its the other characters i'd be concerned with, as well as the monsters in the world.
