It was just fucking weird, you've got a whole season where the shittiness of almost every single male character is driven down your throat then at the end, David Tennant has some shitty throwaway line about how not all men are like that.

guys the reason women complaining about their representation in the media is tolerated is because not much is expected from women

The only time Tennant played a character properly was when he was in a miniseries where he played this stalker dude who makes a woman's life a misery.

Nah the difference there is that women expect to be praised for no effort and men are portrayed to intentionally being bad.

Luke Cage is good but it's basically "Fuck white men" the show. There are very few white people, which was intentional, but the only white male characters are either pathetic coward cucks, Two-faced corrupt cops or literal Nazis. And the only white female character I can think of is a prostitute.

The entire season felt like they'd written chunks of the script straight from a rape info/prevention pamphlet. Like they made an effort to cover all aspects of rape. Extremely preachy.

Season 1 had a good build up even if the plot and most characters were pretty crap. Season 2 was stupid and lacked all the charm of season 1 (the only good aspect of it), seems like season 3 is even worse. Fortunately i haven't seen it yet.
