is it healthy for actors to constantly lose and gain weight for rolls in films?
No
Not at all
It is incredibly unhealthy. These actors are dying for their art

There was an interesting conversation on this in a thread a while ago - it may have been a thread that started about Gal Gadot and Wonder Woman or something, and then looking to Linda Hamilton as the gold standard for female transformation.
I remember looking at the roles Christian Bale went through a few years ago. His weight yo-yoing up and down quite a lot. It's gotta take a toll on your body, right? I mean, especially if it involves weight gain to make you fatter, rather than just packing on muscle.
I mean, at least the big stars get all the perks of personal trainers and excellent diets, anyways.

It gave Hanks the beetus.
I just want the French whore to apologize already. Am I asking too much?
