Yes. The movie is not bad. Just remember that the original musical was a very secular take on the Lufe of Christ. Some of that secular vision still seeps in. Also Superstar is the best song.

But the ending shot is pure Christiankino, like Ben-Hurs

Yes the vision of the film is mostly secular, but you can still get a good passion play out of it

I love the film, the musical is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone.
