Honestly, I don't think that's snobby at all. The beauty of Nervosa was that it was very casual and almost organic in a way, but also slightly highbrow. It's the kind of place where all sorts of people, young, old, college students, working professionals, can come to unwind and just have a chat or read a book or do a crossword puzzle. It's not some sort of corporate chain cafe that Starbucks was spreading back at the time where they pump you full of caffeine so you can sit there for hours and type away at your computer like a workhorse wageslave, just another cog in the wheel of capitalism.

Jazz. Probably had an affinity for whatever contemporary pop/rock/hits were popular in their (Frasier I think was born around '49-'53 ish, they grew up in the 50s/60s) or whatever their mother and Martin played at home.

Something I like about Frasier is I forget most of the dialogue, though I'll remember plot points.

Seinfeld is like it's fucking hard wired into my brain, I could probably quote entire episodes if someone put a gun to your head.

I used to binge watch Frasier when I would go on drug binges.

My favorite time was having ego loss while Fraser was on that road trip and started to have hallucinations of all the women who were important to him. Seeing Lilith, the bar hostess, the hippy, and his mother was like meeting the different aspects of my own life.

Good show. Love the atmosphere and the pretentiousness of Frasier Crane.
