Casino isn't that bad, but even some of the less popular Scorsese films like King of Comedy and After Hours are better. Obviously it doesn't come anywhere close to Goodfellas or Taxi Driver.
It's like 60% narration over the top of Scorsese's classic rock mixtape, with a few decent scenes thrown in. Most of it is just Sharon Stone being an unsufferable bitch. The desert part is kino but the majority of the other "best scenes" are people getting tortured, beaten up, or killed which gets old after a while despite being quality.
