Storm 2, but really, I doubt Chaos 2 is coming back, no one has seen it since 2010 or so. Last rumor I heard was George Francis, while still owning Chaos 2, is going through financial difficulties and doesn't have the funds to repair it, but don't quote me on this.

What happened to Razer and Hypnodisc? They were my favourites along Chaos 2.

Razer's retired, and it was time to honestly, with how powerful the current bots became. Razer's design was great back then, but today it's just outclassed, plain and simple.

Same with Hypno-Disc, but still shows up at live events as a showbot, just doesn't compete.

Yeah I saw how good the new bots are and it's just insane. Razor was so awesome back then. Oh well, thanks. There any cool new bots that are the modern version of Hypnodisc or Razor?

Hypnodisc -> I'd say Carbide, although it's an horizontal bar, not disk, but holy shit that thing is destructive.
Razer -> Noone is making competitive crush bots now really. Like I said, that type is outclassed today
Then you have flipper bots like Apollo and Eruption, which are the new Chaos 2 pretty much.

Vertical spinners are also on the rise, like Aftershock. Really, spinners are what evolved the most in the last years, the current strongest bots (both in Robot Wars and outside) are in spinner city.

If you ask me, I'd say the final today (in about 30 mins. if you don't know) will be Carbide vs. Aftershock, with Carbide taking the crown.
