It's mostly for the audience, since the audience doesn't know that yet until ROTJ. I know some of you have trouble understanding context cues or emotions but Yoda isn't making a big reveal to Obi-Wan, he's just saying what they both already know. Obi-Wan just happened to put more stock in Luke.
