I assume it's for a good reason. There's nothing that drives the character anymore - no sense of ambition or purpose. There'll probably be an episode where she's invited to this charity gala or something and hijinks ensue, but she'll ultimately be left to lie around her house doing fuckall and looking like the typical depressed, middle-aged woman.

She'll do anything to be in the spotlight. I don't think she won't have any drive this season.

I just started watching, made it through the first season. It can be funny, but it's difficult to like most of the characters. It's Always Sunny has asshole characters, but somehow they're still likable.

I still enjoyed the US Office a lot. Whereas VEEP is so terribly unfunny. I'm not sure why people like it.
