WEBRIP is normally off itunes, ~4gig file. When blu-ray release is coming up i (assume) a stolen copy gets released to X scene group and they do a release and then people use that as the source to do their own encodes (initially)

a good guess is to just google the blu-ray release date and in general the BR rips will probably come out roughly a week or two before that

Itunes is shit. Amazon is higher bitrate and so is Netflix. Plus some release groups like ntb have access to netflixs backdoor so they release higher quality copies than what you can stream from them.

Every film is different.
I remember we waited nearly half a year for the bluray rip of Interstellar.
And on the other hand the bluray rip of Silence was available before the film even premiered in my country.

But I would say 3 months after release is the norm. Webrips/Web-DL's always come like a week or two before the bluray so you might aswell wait for the bluray.
