I fucking hate people who watch movies just because they are "fun"

It's not really scary or anything but it has a few spookers. Definitely worth a watch. Some pretty decent make up/prosthetics and lots of gore. Alan Grant and Morpheus do pretty good jobs.

I love Alien and Alien 3 and would love to see more sci-fi horror, can you rec me anything else?

yes, it's one of the best sci-fi/horror films of all time and criminally underrated. It's sad the studio rushed it, tried to get it to PG-13 and the original cut was lost or else it could have been truely the kino it was meant to be.

This movie is really good OP.

I personally consider it a horror on a count of some of my greatest fears include the deep empty void of space where nobody can hear you scream.

Alien3 director's cut is GOAT. If Alien is gothic novel in a space then Alien3 is kafkaesque novel in a space. Aliens is just too much of an action film for me, the immediacy of a threat is totally absent there, not my cup of tea

So are there any sci-fi horrors worth a shot except Alien and Event Horizon?

Watched it in theatres with my first gf, a titless obese cow.

I enjoy Event Horizon more than her existence.
