Right here. Saw Drunken Angel a few months ago and loved it. Mifiune and Shimura worked off eac other so well.

It's a bit over rated. It's not even in kurosawas top 5

Yeah, yeah. I really liked THF. Despite passing simple messages and having scenes that nowadays would be classified as "cliché", everything was great and appreciable. 10/30 on my journey through Kuroswa's world, and I can say that this movie was one of the best until now.

On my favourite scenes: I'd say that the final scenes (I mean, from 01:30:00), including that one of the fire festival, and the escape were the best.
