I like Rick and Morty but it's trying to hard to be fun. All the gags can't be good so it just makes the whole thing look silly and repetitive. It would benefit from being a bit more serious with some gags at times and more story driven

Also the art style is way too close from futurama/the simpsons/american dad/family guy for my taste, it lacks creativity

It's enjoyable to look at to get comfy in bed before going to sleep though but I don't get what's to get crazy about

I've just started Season 2, at least they've toned down the burping and saying "Morty" every 10 fucking seconds now, but I didnt actually laugh once during Episode #1. when does it get good?

No. It's a zany cartoon, and its animation style fits. Japanese animation is mostly shit anyway, weeb
