i don't know what this rick and morty atheism meme is.

it's obvious that rick only says "god doesn't exist" because he wants to appear condescending, all-knowing (i.e. even knowing something noone can know for sure) and because he doesn't want any higher power to exist because that would hurt his ego.

in episode 1 of season 2 rick himself prays to god in fear of his life, so it's obvious he's not so sure about the "god doesn't exist" thing...

It's not incredible, but I legitimately believe most of the people shitting on it on here have not watched even a single full episode.

I am a Christian and I enjoy it. Tbh, in the pilot Rick makes a joke about there being no God and it's reddit and cringey, but apart from that there's not much in the way of aggressive atheism.
