what are your thoughts on Dario Argento's Three Mothers Trilogy?

Terrible with really bad special effects the villains are more easily defeated than something from Buffy the Vampire slayer. Good soundtrack in 1st but dated overrated crap.

Compared to Suspiria and Inferno its mediocre. Feels like a movie that should have been made shortly after Inferno and not 30 years later.

Inferno has really nice cover art.

Never heard of Mothers of Tears, looks pretty shitty. I love all his early stuff but Argento got pretty bad after the 80's

Profondo Rosso and Suspiria are very good.

So is Mother of Tears worth watching OP? Never heard of it but i'm a big fan of Argento. Didn't even realize Suspira and Inferno were supposed to be related though.

Its worth watching if you merely want to see the conclusion to the trilogy. Its not a very good movie though

I wonder if the Suspiria remake is successful it will lead to an Inferno remake.

But regardless, the Suspiria remake sounds like trash
