American Honey is easily Andrea Arnold's worst movie.

It's so embarrassing when people make big grand American statement films, especially when the people making them aren't even American.

The line in American Honey when Star actually looks up to the sky and says "I feel like America" is arguably one of the worst lines in all of film.

The movie does have intermittent patches of brilliance, courtesy of the soundtrack and visuals, but overall it is an incredibly protracted, superficial nothing. The only people I know who liked it are gigantic plebs.

This is a massive cliche and is really not necessary in a movie with a setting that speaks for itself.
