definitely alone. i hate watching tv or movies with friends.. maybe like some dumb cartoon in the background if we're all sitting around gaming but to actual watch a movie in basic silence with other people is almost torturous to me. especially if people insist on talking through the whole fucking thing

I'm in my 30's now. The only time I "hang out" with friends anymore is when one of them has a Christmas party or some shit. They're all married or in serious relationships, so life is over.

I'm in the same situation. I see my "friends" maybe two or three times a year, if that. They guy who is probably my closest friend I haven't seen for about 8 months.

Last time I watched a movie with friends, we watched Seven Samurai to start some sort of kino night at our house. Everyone incessantly talked throughout, because it was 'subbed anyway' and one of my friends tried to change the aspect ratio to 16:9.

These days I'm not watching movies alone, been watching with my dad (Layer Cake, John Wick) and two or three friends (In the Name of the Father, Sideways, The Nice Guys).
