I want to watch the new stuff, but I haven't watched the old stuff. Is important to watch all of the first four seasons? Is the basic premise that Jack goes to the future and is trying to destroy Aku, while Aku tries to destroy him.

Original jack really didnt have a plot. I watched the jack vs aku episodes to get a feel for it again but you really dont need to.

They can finally give Jack human emotions other than just anger directed at Aku. The scene where his inner self is trying to convince him to kill himself. was when I knew we were in for some kino. The Aku therapy session and Scaramouch were also great to demonstrate they can still add humor without ruining the more serious tone.

I haven't seen any of the original other than fragments as a kid but I still really enjoy the new one. The animation quality alone is worth it

It's probably the best thing to premiere on Adult Swim besides the guerrilla Rick and Morty episode. I get a boner for anything traditionally animated, though.
