I know a lot of musicians have appeared as actors in movies (Bowie, Tom Waits, Sting, etc.) but who are some who have directed them?
The only one I can think of is Human Highway by Neil Young. I like it, even if it is pretty stilted. It also has Devo in it and a ton of people that David Lynch would cast in later movies. Actually, it really wouldn't surprise me if Lynch took some inspiration from it.
