Any movie that my wife is less than 99% interested in seeing, she falls asleep halfway through also. You falling asleep during this one is perfectly understandable. It's a period war/action movie with absolutely no romantic relationship aspects (you know...things most women like in movies), and actually, there's almost no female screentime at all, which makes it very historically accurate.

I once watched 1-3 back to back.
Then I did the same for Wild Things.
And for Cruel Intentions.
I think I was going through a phase and summer was boring at the time.

Most realistic battle scenes ever made.
If you ignore that bully though guy going Rambo for 5 sec.
In the loop. Flawless british comedy with political satire done right. Also Peter Capaldi is amazing in it.

It was just cringy and was a black mark on a good film that didn't need to be there, just like the final scene in Fury that ruins the rest of the battle scenes.
I mean the whole scene where the guy picks up a human body as a shield, rifle caliber rounds apparently are unable to penetrate a few inches of flesh.
Then to make it even more retarded he fires a 10kg light machine gun in the other free hand killing like 10japs...
