To be honest I would like to see a season of Power Rangers where the Red Ranger is female and leading the team. And no, SPD and Samurai do not count. I mean a female Red Ranger leading the main team of the season and for the majority of the season and not just five episodes towards the end.

I hope PR2017 gets a sequel, I thought it was a quite effecting drama that was saddled with dumb-mediocre suit and zord designs.

It's not hard to imagine the suits being tweaked to work a bit better and and better designed dragonzord tearing their ugly megazord to shreads. Also setting up Zordon as willing to hide things to advance his agenda and Kim as a sociopath could lead to some great 'team falling apart' stuff as she falls for evil ranger Tommy

I didn't like the 2017 movie. I wanted it to have a more serious tone than the tv show but I wanted that sillyness and light-heartedness as well.

The movie suffers from major tone issues by having both serious scenes and scenes were the actors are chewing the scenery.

I fucking loved the movie, though it is probably just the nostalgia. That fucking ggpr rock with the zords, couldn't stop grinning. Only complaint is Jason didn't scream ITS MORPHING TIME, just kind of muttered it to himself. Rita being sent to the moon just like in my animu made me kek. It depends. The original cast changes were due to contract disputes and the actors wanting more money/a fair wage

Starring in a movie already means they're going to be paid more than the show actors. And they're getting a shit ton of publicity. Plus with social media they can just tell the world that they got sacked for asking for more money, which would make the studio look bad.

So assuming that there aren't any contract disputes, or scandals that would make the studio lose confidence in the actors (sex scandal, drug overdose, nude pic leaks, getting seriously injured on set etc) then I could see them keeping the same cast throughout the whole Zordon saga.
